General Information
All Commissions are done digital (if not stated otherwise) and you will receive a High-Resolution and a Web-Version JPG File of the commissioned Artwork. I will not provide any original (.SAI, .PSD, etc.) files except at my own discretion.
The Copyright of the final image will stay with me. You are allowed to use your picture for Non-Commercial purposes only (Upload the Web-Version to your gallery, use it as an avatar, print posters for yourself and friends etc.)!
If you want to buy Commercial Usage Rights please ask for a quote.
I have the right to upload the Commission to my galleries and use if for prints in artbooks, portfolios etc.
Please Note: I don't do "secret" Commissions. I reserve the right to post/publish my art if I like to.
NO ONE is EVER allowed to edit any of my work without my express permission. This includes recolors, red-lines, minor re-works etc. Coloring is ONLY allowed by the commissioner of the work with my permission. Special allowances can be made at my discretion. You can always get sketches/linework upgraded to color through me.
I take the right to refuse a Commission, if i dislike the topic/theme/character.
Adult Commissions are possible, but i refuse any extreme fetishes. If you are unsure about YOUR special desire, just ask if I would draw it ;)
I am not obligated to keep any works in my account/gallery, in my possession, or for backup purposes. Once the works are finished/posted, it is your responsibility to download and keep a copy for yourself.
If you upload my piece to your gallery/website, please be sure to give me credit. If you refuse to give credit, any/all of my artwork in your gallery will be reported as stolen and I will request for it to be removed.
Ordering
All communication will be done through email. No exceptions!
Keep emails to a minimum. Do not spam my inbox with short, random messages. Get all your information and details together before you send the initial email.
The Basic of Commission-Requests includes: Your Paypal Address, Type of Commission (Sketch, Bust etc.), Character References*, additional Information on Poses, Settings etc. and optional Username of Art-Gallery-Sites you are active on (DA, FA, Tumblr, ...)
*References must be one of the following: an actual reference sheet; a very detailed description; or multiple images of characters/concepts you wish to commission. Characters without a visual reference may cost extra. Complex characters or concepts may cost extra.
I will answer you, when I can accept your commission. Once everything is set, I will send you payment instructions. Please follow them carefully. Failure to pay with the correct information may cause a delay or cancellation of your commission.
Full Payment upfront via PAYPAL only. I will not put you on my to-do list until I receive payment.
Work in Progress
You may be eligible to make changes to your commission before I begin. Any large or excessive changes may cost extra, at my sole discretion. Please contact me ASAP with any possible changes.
Every Commission above $50.00 has a Work in Progress Stage that will be send to you to approve before the image will be completed. You may note changes at this stage. This is the only time I will make free edits. Major changes* may be subject to a fee.
Commissions under $50.00 will be finished in one go after I received payment.I may change minor** mistakes on the final image, If i missed some detail from your description.
*Major Changes are for example: completely changing the subject of the original ordered commission or asking to add additional Characters etc.
**Minor Changes are changing eye or hair color, adding scars, fixing markings etc.
If no general pose is stated in the initial email, I will assume you are allowing me free range on the idea. If I present you with a W.I.P. and you are displeased due to it not being in the pose you wanted, I will not change the work for free. It is your responsibility as a commissioner to have all information ready in the initial email with your commission information.
Once paid in full, commissions can take from four days to five weeks to complete, depending on how many people are on the list and the complexity of the work(s). If you have a deadline, it is your responsibility to inform me in your initial email.
Rush Orders can be made for an additional fee.
I will not send W.I.P notices or make edits for anyone other than the original commissioner (buyer), even if the person is in the work. The commissioner must communicate with everyone on what they want, then contact me when everyone is in agreement. Changes may be subject to a fee.
If you do not reply to your W.I.P notice within 5 days, I will place your commission "On Hold". After 2 weeks from the initial notice, your commission will be completed and you will not receive any free edits.
I will only do no-charge edits on work that has already been submitted if: I, the artist, have made an oversight on the work. I will only do edits up to five days after it has been completed. I am not responsible for changing things on a completed commission due to the customer's oversight on a detail (especially after approving the initial W.I.P.)
Refunds
Refunds will be given at my sole discretion.
If you are granted a refund, a $10.00 USD fee from your original payment will be retained as a deposit. Any work that already has been started will be priced at $30.00 per hour. I may use your already started commission for other purposes (without your Characters in it of course).
If the piece has been completed, it is not eligible for a refund. If something is wrong with the picture, contact me within 5 days, as I may change any large oversight on the work for no-charge, if it was my mistake.
You must have a legitimate reason to request a refund (buyer’s remorse is not a valid reason, and may be subject to a fee if canceled).
Any amount over the quoted price shall be considered a tip and will not be subject to any sort of refund.
Canceling on my site
I reserve the right to refuse service to any person, or refuse to do any commission without reason or explanation, and cancel to commission at any time.
In the event that I cancel a commission because you break the Terms Of Service, or are immature, rude, or inappropriate towards me, you will receive an additional fee of 20-50% on your refund.
If, at any time, I decide that I do not wish to work with you or do your commission, I may cancel your work, refund you for what remains undone, and choose to not work with you again for any reason, including but not limited to: breaking the Terms Of Service, rudeness, overly complex ideas being paid the bare minimum several times, constant nitpicking of ideas, constant dissatisfaction or impatience about with the work quality or time or believe the works should be of a better quality than what you paid for, intolerant or hateful behavior towards myself, my work, or my customers, etc.
